The Windmill is used for only one thing - making Barley Flour, but players have found a secondary use. Windmills are a crafting structure that are only available after defeating Moder, the boss of the Mountains biome. Leeches can’t stop Deathsquitoes… but Windmills can. Now that’s a handy way to stop anything that can’t fly. The leech infestation will automatically spread to any connecting waters, so you can build a leech mote that kills anything it touches. Dig a mote under the water level, then connect your clean water with dirty swamp water. It’s still a great idea - just build your base on the outskirts of a swamp. Here’s another one we’ve talked briefly about before. We’ve also got a full guide that’s all about wolf breeding right here. This is both a blessing and a curse, so use the power wisely. Tame Wolves will kill monsters and eat the raw meat automatically - which means they’ll put themselves into a “Happy” state, and breed all on their own. Wolf babies don’t despawn, so once you have at least two babies, your army is on its way. Once you’ve tamed two wolves, sit and wait for them to breed (feed them and put them in a “Happy” status, then they’ll eventually breed) - wolves have a weird tendency to despawn, so it’s better to wait for the offspring to appear. Taming wolves isn’t enough - you need to breed them. In the Mountains, you can tame wolves with food. Now here’s one that can quickly get out-of-control. Now Deathsquitoes will (try) to attack the Greydwarf before ever touching your fancy base. Build a small shack with gates, lure a Greydwarf inside to lock him up, and you’ll have your decoy. They attack basically everything, so if you want to distract them from your sweet, sweet base - just build a Greydwarf cage. Lastly, like many NPCs, she'll typically drop some type of healing item just for speaking with her, so don't forget to pick that up if you need it.Deathsquitoes are one of the biggest problems you’ll face if you’re living near the Plains biome. If you're visiting her at the beginning of the game and need a quick way to get full shields, you can also spend 250 gold bars for a Shield Keg. Most notably, you can spend 600 gold bars to purchase one of the new Spider-Verse web-shooters if you want to swing around the map for a bit. While you'll want to visit Gwen to complete the Week 11 challenge, you'll also want to be sure you check out what she has to sell, too. While her precise location varies a little bit, she'll typically be found wandering around the interior or roof of a house in the northern part of this point of interest. ![]() Gwen is located in Slappy Shores on the far east side of the chapter 4, season 2 map. If you're looking to complete the challenge for finding and speaking to Gwen, look no further – we'll tell you where to meet up with this popular character. While grabbing a Miles Morales skin from the item shop is certain to make you feel like the superhero already, Week 11's set of challenges brings some extra fun to be had with some rebranded web-shooters and an appearance from none other than Spider-Gwen herself. Marvel has long been one of Fortnite's most dominant crossover properties, and that trend continues with the current Spider-Verse theme that sees Miles Morales and friends show up in the game for some web-slinging fun. You’ll certainly stumble upon plenty of chasms leading to the Depths during your journey through Hyrule, so getting down there shouldn’t pose too much of a problem. Meanwhile, herds of skeletal horses can also be found deep underground in the pitch-dark Depths. You can mount them like any other horse - just slowly walk over to their side while they’re standing still and quickly tap the A button. If you visit this location late at night, you should spot plenty of skeletal horses wandering around the ruins. ![]() ![]() If you want to ride these rare mounts around Hyrule, perhaps the easiest spot to round up skeletal horses is at Sanidin Park Ruin, across the river to the west of Mount Daphnes. Where to get a skeletal horse in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Here’s how to find a skeletal horse in Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You could always find and stable any number of normal horses across Hyrule, but if you’re fancying something that feels a bit more dark and creepy, you’ll want to round up a skeletal horse. However, sometimes you just want to keep things simple with a tried-and-true horse. Part of the appeal of any open world is finding fun and unique ways to navigate it - and Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is absolutely overflowing with creative transportation methods.
